Get Involved!

To help with LV Friends’ activities, please contact the library in person, at 858-573-1399, or via Volunteer Match.

Our meetings are held the first Saturday of each month at 11 am in the library meeting room. Newcomers are always welcome.

Membership and contributions to LV Friends support the Linda Vista Branch Library. Contributions can be made in person or online via the Library Foundation.

We gladly accept donations of new and used books for our book sale. Please see here for guidelines.

Proceeds from our book sale and memberships are used to supplement library collections, special events and performers, furniture needs, and more. Most contributions receive a 100% match from the City of San Diego.

We also support the library with volunteer work. We run the weekly Homework Help program, the school essay contest and award ceremony, and assist on other special programs.
